First time hearing about it

Can you swear there, troll people and make fun of people who like cats?

IT IS A TROLL INFESTED SEPTIC TANK.

Heard about it for the first time a few months ago. Have never visited.

Never even visited.

I went there once - I felt soiled.

It has so much going for it on the feature/design side being so similar to IMDb, iirc. And a huge plus: you can filter out politics and the soapbox from your newest posts feed. I also love that I can link my old IMDb account history and occasionally pick up old conversations, or just take a trip down memory lane on occasion.

On the down side, it seems a bit less active than here, and more trolly. That indeed may be compensated for by the absence of partisan propagandic bickering so common here. There are also a handful of posters there who are so prolific, I've actually had to put a couple on my block list just to save scrolling through whole pages of posts by one or two posters. There *are* quality threads to be had there, just seemingly a little fewer.

I visit there every so often, and have made a couple of friends, but even though this place is hardly "active" compared to the old IMDb, I still visit here most days, and f|b maybe once every week or two. Nice to have options.

FB a nice site architecturally, but the community there is troll-ridden. Here we have a decent crowd, reasonable moderation. Maybe not as large & diverse as might be desired, but the quality is, by internet standards, way above average.
