What do you think your better half will do with your movie collection...

...when you bite it and what would you like to have happen to it?

Donated to the local thrift store, but I'd rather it get donated to whoever wants it.

All her purses and teacups will go to the same thrift store if I'm last man standing : P

reply

i don't have any. all my books and cds will go to the thrift store

reply

I used to have quite the book collection and one day asked myself, why keep these? I ended up selling them all on ebay and the majority sold. What was left went to the "free stuff" shed at the dump.

reply

i am tempted to put the whole lot on ebay and see what i could get.

NOTHING...SHE IS 17 YEARS OLDER THAN I AM AND SHE SUCKS...THUS SHE IS UNINVOLVED...THIS COLLECTION BELONGS TO ALI AND I...ALI WILL BE DEALING WITH IT WHEN I DIE...AS OF RIGHT NOW...ALI IS VERY INVESTED IN THIS COLLECTION.

reply

Same here buddy. My wife likes 1 out of every ten movies I show her. I love her to death but she is a “real housewives” of wherever type. My youngest daughter, on the other hand” wants my movie, posters, book and vinyl collection.

reply

Ditto

reply

Bro it hurts my heart you're stuck with someone like that. I've seen a few other posts you've made and you deserve better. Divorce her and move on for both your sake and daughter.

reply

IT'S A LONG...WEIRD...COMPLICATED STORY...BUT BASICALLY...SEPERATED SHE IS FORCED TO GO TO HER BROTHER IN ANOTHER COUNTRY AND NOW SHE IS RICH AND MEAN AS FUCK AND TAKING ALI IS A DISTINCT PROBLEM...FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN TO FUCK WITH ME...TOGETHER...WE BARELY MAKE ENDS MEET...BUT I HAVE ALI EVERYDAY FROM DAY ONE UNTIL AGE 18...AT WHICH POINT I HAVE LOTS OF COLORFUL THINGS TO SAY TO THE DEVIL.

reply

Damn dude. Soldier on. Sounds like you're just trying to make it to the finish line. Good luck.

I have no better half and have never been in a serious relationship. I'm an autistic mutant. LOL

Maybe my sister will get them. She still buys physical media once in a while.

reply

I'M AN AUTISTIC MUTANT TOO...THE INTERNET IS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO MEET WOMEN WITH LOW STANDARDS...BE CAREFUL THOUGH...SOME OF THEM ARE THE DEVIL.

reply

I'm more worried about what will happen to all my tools I've spent 30 years collecting

reply

The Snap On truck visits me once a week. Lol

reply

We sometimes visit/work a table at a local flea market and there's this old guy there, 92 years old and he just sells tools. He's sold his own original tools from when he was working and now he just collects tools and sells them. He's pretty awesome. What's even more awesome is to see some tool from the 1920s or 1930s and know that that tool will outlive him and me.

reply

Maybe leave them to a vocational school or something like that. They'd be put to good use.

reply

My brother will probably inherit it all, since I've no better half, and keep a majority of them while dispersing some to relatives and maybe selling or gifting the rest. Which is quite acceptable. I'm pretty sure my mother would like for me to die first just for the sole purpose of inheriting some of my box sets, like Medium and Six Feet Under haha though she's free to borrow them anytime.

reply

Mess with her mind and buy her her own copies.

And throw in the complete series of The Ghost Whisperer to really mess her up.

reply

I told her to donate my movie collection to the library when I'm gone. She agreed.
