Jaws 2. Repeats a lot of the plot points of the original. I think the budget might have been bigger, because there's more gore and the visual effects are better. It's well made from a technical standpoint and has some impressive sequences.
Rated 5.8 on imdb which I think is exactly right.
THE VERY DEFINITION OF A MEDIOCRE MOVIE...LATHER...RINSE...REPEAT...WITH JAWS FORMULA...BUT YOU DROP ALL THE ORIGINALITY,SURPRISE,DREYFUSS AND SHAW THAT THE ORIGINAL HAD GOING FOR IT.
shareReally?? What movie did I watch?? The shark looked worse the 2nd time than it did in the 1st movie, JAWS 2 focused too much on character relationships instead of the star of the movie taking a backseat, the chick who kept screaming hysterically needed to be tossed overboard as chum just to shut her up etc.. The more I think about it, the more I wish they never made a sequel(s) to JAWS and that it was a standalone movie

I THINK THE SEVEN REMAKE IS A BIT BETTER THAN MEDIOCRE AND I KIND OF LOVE CHAPPIE...100% AGREE WITH THE OTHER THOUGH.
shareThe couple from Chappie "ruined" the movie for me. Or at least my enjoyment.
They were easily the worst part of the film for me. Liked almost everything & everyone else. But they were the absolute worst.
I didn't hate Magnificent 7, just letdown. Waste of talent imo. You got Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke & Vincent D'onofrio in a film together, man. Idk, was just expecting something a bit more epic.
Any movie on the Hallmark channel will fit that request.
shareFILLER WOULD BE A BETTER DESCRIPTION THAN MEDIOCRE...BUT YES...99% OF THEM ARE MEDIOCRE OR WORSE.
shareThere's a scene in the second episode of the third season of Ted Lasso that fits:
