Do you think kissing on screen should be legal?

Topic.

reply

That depends : what type of screen ?

reply

Movies

reply

What about cartoons ?

reply

Yes

reply

I tend to disagree

reply

It is legal. What do you mean? That it should be illegal?

reply

Do you think it should be legal or illegal?

reply

What's the argument for making it illegal?

reply

It breaks down society.

reply

Sorry, but I have to ask further questions.

How does it break down society?

reply

I don’t know.

reply

wtf

why do I read these posts. i want my 9 seconds back

reply

LOL! It took you *nine* seconds to read that? What are you a five-year-old blind kid with learning difficulties? πŸ˜‰

reply

wtf
why did I read this? i want my 11 seconds back

reply

Why?

reply

Of course not, I heard in 3rd Grade that girls have cooties! Who needs cooties?!?

reply

That's why you have to get the Cooties Vaccine. I know some people have been critical of the Cooties Vaccine and others have politicised it, but it is the most effective way to avoid getting Cooties.

reply

Circle circle, dot dot, now I have the cootie shotπŸ’ͺ

reply

I read the topic and figured it must be another inane Harvey-bot post. Are the two of you related?

reply

WTF?

Leave me out of this.

reply

i guess you don't like older movies.

reply

I recently watched; I am a fugitive from a chain gang (1932). Gotta be one of my new favourite flicks.

reply

Was there any kissing? Maybe between the members of the chain gang?

reply

Maybe some brass ring tounge action

reply

No. Why? I've never heard even the most extreme right wing lunatics suggest that kissing on screen should be illegal.

reply

You mean Iranians, Saudis etc?

reply

You watch Iranian films?

reply

Actually ye
I watched like 3 this year
wasnt even that bad, but its noticeable how some things are only allowed to be insinuated

The Salesman (2016) is a good example of it

reply

πŸ‘

reply

These days, it would probably be the far-left/feminists who would propose banning all onscreen sexual activity, especially if it's between a woman and man.

reply

You're actually right. It's feminists now who raise objections to sex in films. The left is more puritanical.

reply

Obviously, there are libertarian/freedom-loving leftists and right-wingers, just as there are authoritarian ones, but it almost feels that these days the most vocal authoritarians and puritans (EXCEPT when it comes to Pride and trans rights, and even with the latter you'll find a lot of transphobic feminists), identify as 'left-wing'.

reply

And it all matters and has definitions and defining nuances and all, right? As in, never a simple matter of opinion either, correct?

reply

Definition of asinine bullshit right here. Troll better.
