Excellent choice. Fine movie.

I’ll have to think of my pick, good thread👍

Really I thought it was odd. Maybe its over my head.

reply

Maybe you don’t like war movies or old country music..?
It’s fine if you don’t Amiga but in my opinion it’s a pretty solid opening credit sequence.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2

Epic...My favorite beginning of any movie.

It is pretty cool.
I never got around to reading those books but I watched all the movies with my kids. It was a great, epic story.

Shaft 💯👍💯👍

I like the opening to the Shining also. I saw another film recently that used that same chopper footage cutting through the mountains with the lake and all, but I can’t remember it’s name.

reply

I read that The Shining is the only time Kubrick used rolling credits.

reply

I’ve never noticed that but I’ll be looking now.

When I went to see Goldeneye in the theater a couple of years ago, I hadn't seen the movie in quite a while and had totally forgotten about the opening credits. What a great opening, it really set the tone of the movie.

reply

Do you mean the opening credits or the pre-title sequence?

reply

The actual opening credits, the bit with the theme song where they show, well, the credits.🙂

reply

Oh right, the reason I asked is that, I never thought they were that great which is why I thought u might be referring to the pre-title sequence.
