shareMy problem with the Stooges comparison is that the Stooges were proto-punk. I think the reason your band never caught on fire is because it premiered it's "different" sound at a time when rock was gearing away from heavy r&b influences and going back to rock basics. So it's more than the vocals. But the vocals don't save it.
