What was this early 2000s show called?

It was three young people, two guys and a girl, who investigated crimes after being contacted by spirits.

I remember they went to the swamps of Florida and there was a guy called swamp boy who asked for their help, he was a ghost. But the twist was that he was evil and was killing people even as a ghost by luring them into the swamp.

It was a unique concept and it stayed with me, but basically just that episode.

Does this ring any bells for anyone?

Imagine having so few brain cells that "three people investigate crimes" is the high bar for unique concepts.

whats the optimum number of people and occupation for a high brow unique concept that would pass muster with your clearly high standards?

5 kill zombies?
15 overthrow a government?
1 goes on a killing spree?
2 rescue people from a genocide?
4 write a book?
2 love the same person and fight about it?
1 builds a big boat?
