Do you look down at jobless people?

I'm not jobless, but the only work I do is a part-time contract job. I'm looking for better work, though.

Me, I kind of feel for jobless people, though.

It depends on why they are jobless. Last year - no I didn't - my heart went out to many of them, this year I don't feel as sorry for them. There are too many jobs out there right now that can't be filled

reply

no. i don't think i should look down on anyone. though i'm sure if you look through my posting history or my twitter account, you'll find me contradicting that in some way.

but in general, as a principle to live by, i don't want to look down on anyone and don't think you should do that.

i've got lots and lots of problems, and i've been treated badly lots of times in my life. i didn't like it when people did that to me, so i shouldn't do it to someone else.

basic golden rule stuff.

Only if they sit on "assistance" and don't want to pay their own way.

reply

Same.

reply

No, I don't.

reply

No, I know what it's like being jobless & not knowing where your next meal is gonna come from. I know that feeling. It's painful

I read do feel for them. Especially ones with families.

reply

Only the ones over the age of 14.

reply

No, I feel bad for the ones who are jobless by circumstance. I applaud the ones who are jobless by choice and are making that work. That opens up opportunities for people who need those jobs.

reply

Honestly, no. Some people are just not built for this world where they feel comfortable working. They probably struggle doing simple tasks. Then
there are people who have anxiety issues. And then there are the ones who don't have a job based on bad luck.
