Sorry But Movies are still better than TV.

The first time i saw Schindler List was a emotional roller coaster and when i saw the ending, i cried for a good 10 minutes. Ive never done that for TV Show. Even the ones i love. Movies can be a intense emotional experience. TV has never been good at doing that. Even with so called "Goldenage of TV" were suppose to be in. And when i come TV Today. Most of it is Overrated Soap Opera that go on for far too long. These shows Have too much filler because they have fill up a quota of number of Episodes and they end like shit. Because there making this stuff up as they go along. The only serialized shows that people seem to agree didn't end like shit was Breaking Bad. The other thing is movies can be the vision of one person or small group of people. TV is always done by committee. There no such thing as Independent TV. And i dont need to know how many times a day a character takes a dump for me to care about or have sympathy for a character. Especially these so called quality Tv shows. Because most of those shows are about assholes anyways. But Soaps are always about Constant Conflict. That why you can't have characters that not horrible human being on TV anymore.

P.S. And i watch a lot Soaps as a kid. because we only had one tv.

I can't stand being dragged along the way even good series do it. So annoying when I see something on Amazon or Netflix that looks interesting, only to find out it's a series.

Miniseries can be as good as movies. E.g. Das Boot or Band of Brothers.

Agreed! Or like The Queen's Gambit, which is an excellent series!

Chernobyl is good.

Chernobyl is VERY good. It's a brilliant series, one of the best ever, and is rated 9.4 on IMDb. I believe this is the highest rating for any TV show in history. I could hardly wait for each weekly episode!

At least Mini Series have a Beginning, Middle, and End. Its just longer. Serialized shows have a Beginning and a End (which usually horrible). With tons of Filler in-between. I prefer when each episode. Was a short 45 minute movie starring the same characters. Instead one 60 hour movie that outlast its welcome.

Films are different than TV - I enjoy both.

Ofc movies are more attractive than TV nowadays. Especially when you can watch your fav tv series online at any time. But TV is considered in my family as a tradition when once a week the whole family sit at our huge sofa and watch completely uninteresting things on a TV :D

I agree. I have yet to see a TV show that lasted multiple season seasons where I've either enjoyed it the same all the way through or for better as it went on. Usually one season is worse than another and sometimes it gets better than a previous season.

For example, The Shield is a great show. Seasons 1, and 2 are good. 3 and the first half of season 4 are just okay. But season 5 is the best season, 6 is good but not as good as 5 and season 7 is great. And as great as the show is, I would never watch it from beginning to end again because I don't want to watch the disappointing season 3 and first half of 4 again. That's too much time spent on disappointment.

With movies it's one and done. If scenes go on too long, they won't last as long a TV shows. I've also never felt any real attachment to any TV characters. I'm just sick of seeing them at that point.

So often I watch a movie and I think: This should've been a mini series, you can't tell the whole story in 2 hours.

Also, screw you, soaps rule!!!
