Is Bob Dylan a sellout??
He has sold all the rights to his songs for a reportedly $300 million. So Mr. Anti-Establishment in the end likes money.

I love all of Bob Dylan's songs
shareWhat is wrong with liking money ?
shareI have no problem with it. Some ay it doesn't live with his message from the 1960s.
shareDylan was never anti-capitalist, and doesn’t stand by any of the supposed political statements of his old songs.
If fact, he has moved through multiple perspectives and belief systems throughout his 60 year career, and certainly doesn’t adhere to those he might have held at the start.
Not sure what he needs at 79 with more money but he is a sell out . In the term that he literally sold out all of his songs .
shareHe's really got some money now. But what does he do with all of that money? And I wonder how big the first check is?
shareI can't think of any band or musician of consequence that didn't sell out at some point.
Townshend and The Who sold out to CBS, a bitter disappointment to me at the time.
I think Clapton has been sponsored by Budweiser and some perfume company.
To NOT sell out seems like a hopelessly naive exercise in self-abnegation.
You want to be rich, I want to be rich, everyone wants to be rich.
But the definition of being rich is having more than other people.
Chew on that for a moment.
Dylan has done enough good that he deserves to cash in, considering our overwhelmingly materialistic climate and zero sum game economic policies.
Maybe he'll write a good song about it. I'll bet he still has it in him.
He hasn’t ‘sold out’, his integrity is 100% intact.
shareRumor has it that he is changing the title of one of his iconic songs.
Lay,Lady,Lay(across my big brass bed with $300 million spread on it)
My fav Dylan song is his "sellout" electric one.

Apparently Joni Mitchell didn’t like him.
