I have tried for years, and I still enjoy a mixed drink occasionally but I truly can’t stand the taste of liquor and I’m not sure how anyone does. It sounds good, I see pics of margaritas and martinis but it’s just never enjoyable. I do like bloody Mary’s, however.

shareAs a tee-totaler, I have not had alcohol for years. I tried a little a long time ago, but I never liked it.
Also, I'm scared of drunk people. And I don't see why I would want to become drunk myself.

shareI really miss drinking hard liquor, but I enjoyed it so much I'd always over do it. I used to power through the next morning and do it all over again, but I finally had to stop.
My idea of a mixed drink was a rock glass full of ice filled with booze and a small splash of soda for a little flavor. The only mitigation was the melting ice and I'd add more whenever I refreshed the drink. Would barely touch the soda.
Nowadays I'd feel too crappy to want to put myself through this anymore, but I sure enjoyed it.
That stuff rots my stomach lining, but at least I get to drink it first.
shareTry Brandy. Its completely underrated and so much more pleasant than other sipping liquors imo.
