peanut butter & jelly, yes

what is your favorite brand of both

i'm a jiff creamy guy,
with any decent brand of blackberry or black raspberry jelly

the milk should be thoroughly chilled, not shaken or stirred

hasten to add: on wonderful, full bodied bakery bread (of course)

reply

I've never liked jams or jellies. I'm more of a peanut butter and honey type girl. I don't have a favourite brand of peanut butter, but I prefer creamy to crunchy.

reply

pb & h is an acceptable form of sweet gooey sandwich for the purposes of this thread.

reply

you are definitely not from newfoundland.

reply

Because I don't like jams and jellies?

reply

yes

reply

I'm an oddity here as well, but I can't stand cooked fruit. I don't like fruit pies, or any sort of crisp or danish either.

reply

jam is big down there any and all berries/fruits are fair game.

reply

Sure, why the hell not...haven’t had one in a few years but some crunchy PB and strawberry j, toasted bread...cool...

reply

toast is a nice option. i can go either way. for the lesser species of bread, def. toast is the way to go.

reply

Haha, yes I’m a savage, I use crap bread so I toast it up...I tried with sourdough a few times, and surprisingly, it was pretty good...

reply

Strawberry jelly has always been my favorite. But I'll eat grape too.

Pb and J with always be my favorite sandwich 😉👍🏽

I'm a pretty regular eater of pb and j. Natural peanut butter and low sugar strawberry jam.👍

Dickinson's Boysenberry Preserves and Peter Pan PB are the best. I like mine on toasted, whole-grain bread.
My grandmother used to make PB sandwiches as a side to chili. Makes a great sweet and spicy combo.

Peanut Butter
Peanut Butter
Peanut Butter and Jelly
Tastes so good
So very good
When it's in your belly

That was the first song my Grandma ever taught me.

And for the record, Skippy Peanut Butter with Welch's Grape Jelly (not jam) for me, thank you very much.

well done !

Your Grand sounds like a fine Lady👍

Any creamy brand is ok. I like Dickinsons jelly but that's just because my last name is the same.

reply

i think that i shall seldom see
better the sight laid before me
bread spread nut butter
drink from cow udder
and jelly from some kind of tree
(or vine)

reply

I like crunchy Peanut butter with apple jelly on white bread. It’s not complete without a tall glass of ice cold vitamin D milk at the end to wash it down.

reply

milk is essential
