Are you worried that you'll get Covid-19?
Or do you live pretty shut off from society?
No but I will start to worry if or when I have trouble breathing. And it's the other way around, society lives pretty shut off from me.
I'm more worried about the economy than about the virus. The virus is just a bad flu.
In my case, it's more like a virus infection than a flu, as I hate getting a flu and blowing my nose, coughing, chocking on liquid running down my throat as I sleep.
But I've had it for over 2 weeks and now my throat is tickling so it's scary wondering if it's moving into the respiratory system.
The mortality rate is 20% if you need to be hospitalised.
sheltering, but still concerned about the possibility.
lots of opportunities, whilst shopping, for happening into the wrong place at wrong time.
hopefully, mask and gloves keep the killer cooties at bay.
Things like this just never worry me, at least not for my own personal safety. I worry about family instead. My mom is elderly and she's on oxygen (from a life time of smoking). But we do her shopping and don't let her out.
My son and his wife are nurses and I'm concerned for them.
I'm not staying indoors because I still have my job. I work for a company which provides support for the intellectually and/or physically disabled. The house I work in has three men. So I'm out of my house and in their house forty to fifty hours a week.
I still go to the store when I have to. I walk my dog and I would practice "social distancing", but I hardly see anyone else. Just other dog walkers!
I never give the regular flu season a second thought. Maybe that's because I've never had it. The guys in my work place have had colds and bronchitis. Other staff have had colds and heaven knows what else. Someone is always sick! I've never caught anything from all those germy people.
Maybe I was just blessed with a strong immune system. My problems are more mental than physical. I'm fairly OCD and I obsess over silly stuff. lol

if you ever had had it, you'd be giving it a second thought.
No, because I'll survive it.
shareI'm more worried about everyone's behavior in all of this. I'm worried about people jumping to conclusions every time somebody sneezes.
shareDo I worry - no, but I believe in being careful. My husband and I are retired so staying at home is easy for us. I order groceries online and pick them up. I went to the store this week very early when it was senior hour so the store wasn't crowded. I am very careful to not touch my face when out and I wash my hands every time I come in the house.
Yesterday I met 2 friends at the mall and we walked outside together 6 feet apart.
Right now the motivation for me to avoid catching the virus is that my husband,( who is in a very high risk group), stays safe and if we both stay well then that is two less people that might end up in the hospital.
