Endeavour fan, eh? So am I.
shareYes it's very good. Especially the first two seasons. Shaun Evans takes a bit of getting used to because apart from the prickliness he's not much like John Thaw's Morse at all. And in the later seasons they made him out to be quite the stud banging beautiful young women left and right. It made me wonder where the older Morse got all of his reticence and awkwardness from with women.
Shaun Evans did a good job of adopting John Thaw's mannerisms, but he appears too tall to be Morse, among other things. Any yes, his history with women - not quite on the mark but I imagine it's difficult to work around the original story line. I still enjoy it, though.
