Is it sexist to say I want a housewife?

A woman who enjoys cooking, keeping the house impecable, just.being there for her man and kids when they get home.

Am I living in the wrong decade?

reply

It might be. It really depends on how you and said woman would share the responsibilities of your household. If this woman is doing the majority of the child-rearing and household chores, while you do a 9-5 job and then come home and act like your job is done for the day, I would say absolutely it's sexist. And I also think it depends on enjoyment versus obligation. You can enjoy cooking, but are you obligated to?

reply

No, it’s not sexist at all. There are many women out there, especially those who want children, who want just that.

reply

You're a man. You are sexist just by existing. If you are white you are racist too.

reply

Are you saying I'm sexy and racy?

reply

A hardcore feminist would say yes. But no, it's not. There are plenty of women willing to do it.

I have been around...

I am a huge believer in equality unless something proves that the person is not equal. I also believe that in so far as education goes, we need all smart people educated to help humanity. I am not a big supporter of having a "career" for personal reasons because no one cares about your job while family is extremely important and needs to come first.

So, I was always interested in career women because I thought that was a good thing, modern, and they would be equal. However, the ones I have been with reminded me of men. I felt like I was in a gay relationship with a female and that made me unhappy.

Now, I'm with a more traditional women who was never interested in career and enjoys cleaning and all of that. I appreciate it very much and like the differentiation between us.

No, there are many women who do like being at home and do some of the house work.
It’s not in there interest being business woman.
But it’s just women sometimes want a little financial independence to buy what we like example a new bag, Shoes that we are in love with and some of that stuff.

You might want to do some compromises with her or maybe you’ll meet someone who might want to work for some independence when she wants to get some luxuries by that I don’t exactly mean LV or Chanel but have the freedom to buy herself a new perfume without the need to ask permission to get that.

Before you go looking for a woman to marry, best lose that timid attitude, asking forums if it's okay to do or say things.

Not many women want that sort of man.

reply

I’ll clean your house for 50 bucks.

Trust me, in the long run it’ll be cheaper than a divorce settlement.
