I'm gonna be glued to the TV tomorrow watching the Canadian Election.

Anyone else watching?

I might.

No, I'll just find out the results anyway. It's really between six people who I don't feel are qualified enough to be PM in the first place.

reply

I will follow the seat count but I won't watch all the analysis.

reply

I'm going to be avoiding any news of it. I want to wake up in 4 more years when the parties have found decent leaders and platforms.

reply

Go Jagmeet Singh!

Lulz??

I believe Trideau and the Left are working on fixing that for you.

reply

I believe the correct spelling there would be "Trudeau".

reply

Meh typing on phone but if that is something that upsets you then perhaps you need to get out more.

reply

Anyone who says "the left" needs to get out more, also stay off facebook and turn off the radio.

reply

Uh huh. Because the left aren't opposed to democracy.

Wow a simple comment which triggered two wimps.

Not bad really.

reply

You can tell yourself that you pissed me off or triggered me or whatever but "the left" is propaganda speak that comes out of every dittohead. You're being geared up for fascism, soon they will tell you that democracy is broken and has been corrupted by "the left" and you'll believe it. At some point they'll use "the left" to justify all sorts of activities that are in opposition to the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Remember my words when it happens.

reply

Uh huh. The Left are the fascists. And from what I see the left are the only ones wanting to change constitutions.

reply

"Meh" typing....??

Don't get your panties in a twist. Just messin' with ya.

Canada is relevant?

no tv here - i can't really call myself a cable cutter, cuz i actually only had cable tv for 2 years or so out of my life - but i'll be following on twitter, even though i have pretty much zero investment in the whole affair & find all the parties kinda awful to varying degrees.

some outcomes will be worse than others in my book (a strong liberal minority propped up by the ndp...harrumph), but based on my own beliefs & how i'd like the country to look, i really do not have a party to cheer for.

reply

they streamed it online and global on twitter, I'm sure you saw them. I watched the whole thing on my laptop.

reply

My province of birth went all Liberal again.
