Don't give a shit. He won't cast white people for his movies, so he's a fucking racist.

reply

What makes you say that?

reply

Did you read my post? He refuses to cast white actors for lead roles in his movies. He's discriminating against people because of the color of their skin. That, my friend, is racism, regardless of who is doing it.

😐

reply

Haha, what a story!

reply

Laughing at racism?

😐

reply

You must be kidding, aren't you?

reply

Are you denying the fact that he refuses to cast white actors in lead roles? Read this:

😐

reply

Do you understand life? Do you?

reply

Yes I do, and apparently better than you do.

😐

reply

If a lot of people loved each other, the world would be a better place to live.

reply

I agree, but obviously Peele does not. He obviously does not love white people, since he refuses to cast them in lead roles in his future movies. He's a racist, and racism is ALWAYS wrong, regardless of who is espousing it. Therefore I am done with him and his crappy movies.

😐

reply

you gave 'Us' 9/10 recently.

reply

I do not care. I've changed my mind, which is my right. I now give it a 3/10 because it was written, directed and produced by a racist. Racism is ALWAYS wrong, no matter who practices it.

😒

reply

Rosemary's Baby 10/10
Braveheart 10/10
Apocalypto 9/10

reply

What does that have to do with anything?

😎

reply

Glad to see you put your shades back on.
So we've already been round the mulberry bush on this, so, not trying to change your mind or anything.
It's about separating the artist from the art.
Elia Kazan is a snitch.
Roman Polanski is a pedophile/rapist
Mel Gibson is antisemitic.
and on and on........
Bryan Singer
Walt Disney
Thomas Edison
Henry Ford

reply

Jordan Peele: Racist. Not gonna separate. I'm done with him!

As to Elia Kazan, Disney, Edison, and Ford, you're reaching WAY back into
time. Those men were from a different era, and are not pertinent to this conversation. Two wrongs do not make a right, and their bad behavior does NOT justify Peele's bad behavior and racism.

😎

reply

He has given that otherwise cool emoji such a bad rap here.

reply

MMC's posts here in this topic are hilarious.

Peele a raging racist! Lol, yeah and a woman who says she wants to make a movie about women's issue, starring a woman, must be sexist for not considering casting a man as a struggling female.

Meanwhile, MMC himself has openly made disgusting racist comments on this board, which is the point where he started to lose me.

reply

MMC claims racism is always wrong but only seems bothered if it's something perceived racist toward white people. When I commented simply how horrible the event was, he dismissed the New Zealand massacre of 50 Muslim people at mosques last month with the following comment:

No more awful than all the mass murders which Radical Muslim Terrorists have committed. Almost 3,000 on 9/11 alone.
This pales in comparison.

So his opinions on racism are meaningless to me and I take it as a badge of honor that he put me on his ignore list.

reply

Am I the only one who finds it hilarious that he compares the deaths of Muslims to 9/11 victims (the majority of whom were white) using the verb "pales"?

reply

Lol he has a way with words.

reply

this is the turning point, where a comedy
turns into a psychological horror.

reply

He's always been a flaming hypocrite. I think he's also an embarrassment to conservatives.

reply

People so focused on expressing perpetual outrage possess a poor capacity for noting irony or contradictory thoughts.

reply

...perpetual outrage...

A succinct summation of mmc2.

reply

Anyway, how is your sex life?

reply

How's yours?

😎

reply

Well, maybe you should have a girl, Mark.

reply

You didn't answer my question, and my name is not Mark.

😒

reply

Well, what happened? Remember Betty? That's her name?

reply

WTF are you babbling about?

😐

reply

I cannot tell you; it's confidential.

reply

So it's just some bullshit you made up. Okay, this conversation has become stupid. I'm out. Have a nice day.

I know this reference because of Stratego

reply

Too cryptic. I think you're going to have to spell it out for him.

reply

sorry, the tension was killing me.
now i wish i hadn't of done it, just to see how far you'd go.
Original post is hilarious btw.

reply

Agreed, it's post like Fred's that makes me wish comments had like buttons!

reply

like

reply

WTF?

😐

reply

What's bothering you, Mark?

reply

Oh, this is really funny shit tonight! It doesn't take much to derail him & get him groping around in the dark.

so, red or blue?

reply

Red of course.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Room_(film)

Mr. FredBurroughs has been trying to keep things light by quoting from the movie 'The Room', a big cult movie classic, (especially here at MC).
Starting with the question 'how's your sex life'.
The question, in the film, is considered so out of context, that one's only response would have to be, "WTF?"

reply

Whatever.

😐

reply

Sigh...
So deflated, once again.
Take a trip and get over it.

reply

yeah. I was hoping for a happy ending too.

reply

nah dude! you took the red pill! you have got to watch the film! seriously 16,533 post on MC and you haven't seen 'The Room"? C'mon. Everything will be made clear.

reply

I said I took the Red Pill. See above. And yes, of course I've seen "The Room". I just didn't realize he was quoting from it.

😐

reply

The proper quote is: "Whatever, I don't care."

reply

That's the idea!

reply

His name always sounded like a tooth product to me.

reply

ya know, now that you mention it, yeah, I can see that!

reply

It's a funny sketch, but is the joke on Gremlins 2?

Because Gremlins 2 is a pretty good movie.

reply

I think the sketch is more of a riff on how Hollywood movies are made by a committee, especially in the sequel-heavy 80s.

reply

Okay, but I wonder if Peele was picking on Gremlins and Back to the Future in particular since those two franchises came in for a lot of criticism by some parts of the black community for supposed 'racism'.

reply

That was great
Those guys are hilarious

reply

😄 Hilarious! These guys are new to me. Love them!

All would have become clear to MMC if he'd removed his blinders long enough to just watch the video. I like to think he'd have gotten a smile out of it. Maybe he would!

reply

So...not wanting to click on a YouTube link and listen to a load of waffle and make money for some assholes channel...what is the franchise being referred to here?

reply

It's a harmless funny video, poking fun at Hollywood and how things are done by committee, sometimes to the point of absurdity. Specifically it was about Gremlins 2, but it could have been about any other. IOW, it's just a comedy skit.
