OK, OK, I admit that I'm being a smart ass.
So to answer the question that I assume you're asking, it's gotta be ...

they are both good.

reply

No, the Vegas one is epic and I don't even really like Elvis.

This one.

His cover of hey jude is kind of amusing too. he struggles with the lyrics a little bit.

reply

I had to look this one up (I'd totally forgotten about it) and enjoyed it
Thanks👍

Excellent pick and it's pretty tough to pick!
Jailhouse Rock is great too
Love Me Tender...The guy had so many

His version of My Way was very solid too (released in 73 and he died in 77...)

This live version of unchained melody is my favourite.

Any idea when this was recorded?
The King seemed in rough shape at this point, but not a bad performance

Also, was Coca-Cola a sponsor...there were red cups everywhere (I wouldn't bet that it was Coke in those cups!)

reply

I believe that was recorded June 19/1977 about two months before his death. I don't know if they did product placement sponsorships back then.

reply

There are photos of Joan Crawford with very obviously posed Pepsi cups at a script read through from the same era or earlier
The Ad Men were trickining us into being thirst many decades ago lol

Sad, Elvis looked messed up in that video
His 'people' really should have stepped in and carted him off to re-hab, but maybe that wasn't a big thing back then..?
