reply

The Haunted. 1991 made for TV movie. Based on a true story and I really like it. WTched it many times.

reply

I might have to check it out some time.

This is one of the movies I so wish ScreamFactory or someone would properly restore and release on Blu Ray.

reply

Yep it needs a good release. Those copies on YouTube etc are a bit foggy. Must be from VHS copies recorded off the TV originally 👍

Hush 2016

reply

I have been thinking about watching Hush for a while now. Eventually, I will get around to it. Hush has over 67,000 votes on IMDb, so I wouldn't really consider it lesser known though.

reply

I just never hear anyone mention it. It's great.

reply

I might watch it tomorrow.

reply

Hush is very good considering this is no dialogue.

Island of Lost Souls (1932)
The Plague of the Zombies (1966)
Seconds (1966)
Night of Horror (1981)

reply

I just watched Island of Lost Souls earlier today. It was pretty good. I've seen Seconds and it was good too. Haven't seen The Plague of the Zombies or Night of Horror yet.

reply

My problem with Seconds was that Rock Hudson was a lot taller than John Randolph.

reply

seconds is a neat little oddity. it was streaming on tubi-tv, but seems to have been removed...

angst (1983)
the love witch (2016) (not really horror at all, but it has some of those elements & i love it to death).
society (1989)
absentia (2011)
the velvet vampire (1971)
starry eyes (2014)
island of death (1976)
pieces (1982)
excision (2012)
possession (1982)

reply

Haven't seen any of those yet.

reply

Good ones right here.

reply

Great list and i saw about half of yours
Island of Death was completely insane...hell of a weird movie that i really liked

Clownhouse

reply

The scene on the pathway with Casey and the clown still creeps me out.

reply

That looks good.

The Seventh Sign (1988)

reply

I used to love that movie. I always cry.

Green Room (15) was pretty awesome
Patrick Stewart, Alia Shawkat (❤️) and that poor, young Anton Yelchin fellow were in it
I loved the cast...Alia got it going on!
A punk rock band runs afoul of some insane Neo-Nazi assholes in a dive bar and have to fight their way out

The Invitation (14) was also pretty great...pretty perfect little indy!

Murderdrome (18) a bunch of sexy Roller Derby girls raise a demon by accident and it starts killing everybody
To be honest, this story doesnt make much sense but a bunch of hot ladies in revealing outfits on roller skates is a pretty easy sell
I liked it a lot

I will try to post some others
Good thread👍
