What year did Rose use that line, Strat? Because "the Nile" and "denial" dates back to at least James Cameron's True Lies. Could it be that soap opera writers are stealing jokes.
And I would not call the current MC climate a soap opera. Soap operas have sex. "Alice" is as absent sex as it gets. This is a farce. Without sex.
Early 2000s? Of course it's an old joke, but I just loved it when she said that about metrosexual guy Simon. But are you really expecting originality from soap writers?
