People that didn't have a well thought out movie rating system until they saw someone else's
Is really quite pathetic. It's like some kind of lousy competition where they look more pathetic than the person they're competing with.

I don't like personal systems with a limited rating, like 1 to 5, and then they use 3.5. Why not just use 1 to 10? Or they use 1 to 10 and then have a 7 point something. Decimals are silly in these cases, just move the decimal and do 1% to 100%.
This is excluding mathematical rating systems that average out simple small voting scales from users, obviously that will wind up with decimals instead of rounding up or down.
I am old skool... I just watch a film & don't give a fuck about rating it... do you remember them days? You just went to the video shop rented some shit & enjoyed a film (or thought it was wank)
My rating system is the same as then: Liked or didn't like..... always rewind the tape.

Yes I remember those days. No scale. Either you liked the movie or didn't. Thumbs up or thumbs down.
