Hey guys,i know this is off topic for You,but If some of you are still gamers,what ,in youre opinion is the most succesfull game franchise ?
For me is the tomb raider and Resident Evil games.
Any thoughts?

Most successful (not necessarily my all-time favorites) have to be Mario, Sonic and Zelda. RE and TR definitely have to be up there but I think these three franchises had to have made the most coin since they were released many years before the RE and TR franchises came out.
shareI think it is based on opinion because some people really like gore in games. Mario and Sonic are not exactly full of gore.
shareI thought the OP meant most successful aka made the most money. That's why I said the three I mentioned were not my favorites and the fact that they made more money because they multiple games, mercy, crossovers over decades would be why they made the most money.

shareFor me it's the Uncharted games. The fourth one was a masterpiece. I like cinematic games that are story driven and the Uncharted games are just that.
I've only played the 2013 Tomb Raider but It's one of my favourite games. I've been meaning to buy Rise of the Tomb Raider for a long time now, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
