Another bunch of Never-Trumpers

A group of conservative-leaning lawyers criticized Attorney General William P. Barr for the expansive view of presidential power he espoused in a recent speech and for his conclusion this spring that President Trump had not obstructed justice in the Russia investigation.

“In recent months, we have become concerned by the conduct of Attorney General William Barr,” the group, Checks & Balances, said in a statement

Mr. Fried suggested that Mr. Barr’s interpretation of the law set a dangerous precedent. “Conservatism is respect for the rule of law. It is respect for tradition,” he said. “The people who claim they’re conservatives today are demanding loyalty to this completely lawless, ignorant, foul-mouthed president.”

It just the early symptoms of TDS. It only gets worse from here.

reply

If TDS is demanding loyalty to a completely lawless, ignorant, foul-mouthed president, then yeah I’ve got it too

The term "Never-Trumper" is a dangerous term. Only an authoritarian mind would ever come up with a term like that an use it in a derogatory sense. Donald Trump is that psychopathic authoritarian mind.

There is nothing wrong with being a "Never-Trumper". Not here in America. Only in dictatorships would such a term even be used in a derogatory sense.

Excellent post, dteam!

reply

Thanks.

Notice how Trumpers everywhere started using that term IMMEDIATELY after Trump started using it?

Scary stuff. Just like cultists.

When I read trump supporters comments on various websites they all pretty much say the same things. Not an original thought in any of them. They've been brainwashed by Fox News and repeat ad nauseam what they hear from them. It's pathetic.

reply

Exactly. That's why I call them androids that came off an assembly line. You literally can't tell one from another.

reply

They call themselves "NeverTrumpers". The term originated with them.

Truer words were never spoken.

From the OP:

"Checks & Balances is made up of Republican and conservative lawyers, including some who served in recent administrations. George T. Conway III, one of Mr. Trump’s most vocal critics and the husband of the White House counselor, Kellyanne Conway, is one of the group’s most prominent members."

Dude wrote a check for $22,000 to the Republican National Committee in 2016. That's a year's worth of raccoon pelts for most of y'all.

Can’t wait for the indictments to start falling. The communist Democrats and their appointees in several national security agencies attacked the republic. Their attempted coup failed. No punishment is too harsh.

We have rules of law in the United States. Our country relies on these rules of law being applied to all Americans equally. Treason is treason. Brennan. Clapper, Comey, and Obama all coordinated to undermine the United States republic. No punishment is too harsh.

Disgusting.

Is there some law that says Democrat appointees can never be replaced?

reply

Still waiting for the indictments to start falling?

reply

We wait always for something that does not come.
