I can understand forgetting about the GI Joe and Transformer series, which are both Paramount productions.
I wouldn't doubt it in Transylvania, being disputed back and forth between your country and Hungary. Heck, your homeland has one of the coolest origin stories for a country's name, referring to the Romans.
Blame the Normans in regards to many of English words which have "u" and "ch-" letters derived from their Frankish neighbors back in France. Some languages, such as English, have been butchered due to many outside influences.
