Nope. He'd just be standing around saying the useless filler lines as he was doing before. Based on what Boyega says, they (or at least he) imagine an end game relationship between him and Rey, as absurd as that is. Good explanation. Heh. But it's something I never see mentioned. Buffy's hair looked bleached and all messy and she's barely a 6/10 at the end of season 7. She really got progressively less hot after she cut her hair in season 6. When that Senator burns that artwork during a hearing and Bette tells him off. So absurd. Pure fantasy genre. Fair enough, but the guys in high school in this day and age who are in shape and still maintain some traces of masculinity are usually athletes or at the least they weigh more than the girls do. Those guys she was interested in were scrawny pansies. She lost the gold medal because 5 of the 9 judges were from Iron Curtain nations. Which is utterly absurd. Judges from the rest of the world rightfully voted for her. They might as well have not even had a competition and awarded it to the Eastern European. It's that simple. And after what she went through to get robbed at the end due to political reasons had to have made her deeply bitter. I don't get the criticism of her after winning the silver. It's a participation award. Apt description I can't think of another explanation for Bronn leaving the meeting before she arrived. That made no sense whatsoever. And how pitiful that they can't act professional enough to film scenes together due to break up over a decade ago even when they don't even directly interact. Pfft. I liked the scene and never understood in the book why Helene wasn't made an outcast like say Anna Karenina was. Everyone knew about her affairs and looked the other way apparently, which didn't make any sense to me because she was a vicious woman that no one really liked. Pierre hears about her affair with Dolokhov which apparently everyone knows about, certainly plenty did, but afterwards, people take her side and act like he was irrational. Just never understood it. Bilbo Baggins being the token white character is kind of funny. What else can they say and keep their job? These people praise the Star Wars films now because they gave a stupid role to an outspoken black actor. It's an example of the same mentality. The press and fashion critics have to rave about Michelle Obama's beauty when everyone knows she's hideous. They have to praise this movie (which may very well be good) due to the cast. I honestly don't believe any mainstream critic can be objective. And they universally praise filth like the new Star Wars movies due to the feminist shit and diversity casting, it goes without saying that their opinions on this film are even less reliable. You are utterly naive to imagine that movie critics (who are also Academy) voters are free from influence or not motivated by politics. The critical praise for that god awful Mother film couldn't make that more obvious. Weinstein's films were known for winning Oscars because of the money and influence he wielded in the industry. You think Jennifer Lawrence was all over Weinstein their photographs together because he was such a nice guy and not the vicious bully everyone else claims and can obviously see. And obviously the other David O. Russell films that she got Oscar nominations had nothing to do with Weinstein despite you know Russell being so close to him and Weinstein being a big backer. You do understand that most Academy voters don't watch even close to all the movies they are voting on? That the buzz you talking about is part of a campaign? And that Oscars are awarded largely due to campaigning in the industry involving lots of money and given to actors who express the right political views? That's what Weinstein did for Lawrence and Streep among others. What would his incentive be to do that given what has been revealed about the way he was promoting actress who agreed to do what he wished and punished those that didn't? They not only praised Weinstein profusely for years but were shown in numerous photographs all over him. If you understand that, you would understand why so many actresses would agree to do sexual favors for Weinstein and protect him for decades. What are Streep and Lawrence among others going to say? I had sex Weinstein so that he would spend a fortune to win me an Oscar? Many actresses have accused him, but how many have actually come forward and said yes, I performed sexual favors to get roles? Please. I'm convinced the only way Jennifer Lawrence won an Oscar for that stupid movie in which she had a average performance at best in a shitty role as well as nominations for pretty average performances in average movie's after a Winter's Bone is that she agreed to do what Weinstein wanted. Only thing that makes sense. He was well-known for his successful Oscar campaigns due to spending more than anyone else. Seems fairly obvious that she slept with Harvey Weinstein (like Meryl Streep did) to get her Oscar for that lousy role that lousy film. Exactly. Stage acting is awful. It's why they don't belong in movies. I think Attack the Block was his best movie and performance, but it's not like it required a bunch of talent for that role. The standards of acting in a movie with teens like that is pretty low. True enough description. Being a shitty actor doesn't separate him much from his fellow actors these days. It's hard to think of too many younger actors who actually have talent. Instead we have soft emo pussies like Ansel Elgort and Miles Teller.
