Anyone else find the Grace character extremely unlikable??

She was pure chaos and putting everyone (including herself) constantly in danger. In the beginning it was okay because she didn't know who she was dealing with. But eventually when people were trying to kill her she still kept making things worse... granted: she finally got on board.

Half way, I was thinking that she was too risky to keep alive. She almost (on purpose) got Ethan killed, which we were supposed to think of as charming.

I actually quite like Grace but I can see why people would be annoyed by her duplicitous behavior. A part of me thinks that is partially by design. The director said that in an early script, she betrayed the team.
To compare this with another recent release, I found Grace to be a better version of the character Phoebe Waller-Bridge played in Indiana Jones 5. A movie I liked but thought PWB was *very* grating.

Not "extremely", but somewhat unlikable. Thought she could add some fun in the beginning, but she became tiresome. I didn't think she and Cruise had any real chemistry and she took up too much screen time.

Fully insufferable. In general I despise characters who are created solely as action mcguffins. Why are you running away again? For another chase scene! Another betrayal? Keep them twists coming! Always abused to the point of predictability. "how's she gonna mess this scene up now?"

she almost seems forced, like we need a female lead, here you go just take this one

Yes - selfish and unlikeable, and leaves Cruise for dead a coupla times.
