90% of Kevin's in movie and TV productions are dysfunctional, neurotic, and/or psychopathic, @ssholes, or F**kups. What the actual F**k did some Kevin do to some Hollywood power player?! I'm F**king sick of it!!!!

Well, my old Dungeons & Dragons buddy from grade/high school and my stepson are both Kevins, and unfortunately, I have to say the assessment is 90% accurate in both cases.

IMO that is the point of using that name. We already know what to expect. Kind of like all the poor Karen's. I have two friends named Karen. Neither is anywhere close to the stereotype, but say she was a "Karen" and viola', the impression is set.
