Season Finale post-credits scene

Obvious spoilers

No one is going to be looking at the Death Star superlaser the same way anymore, who else called the components Andor, Kino, & others were working on to be a part of the Death Star project? Incredible tie-in.

reply

I wouldn't have watched that unless I read your post this morning. I guess they've got supply chain issues now.

reply

As it happens, Andor gets killed by the very weapon he build components for, in Rogue One.

reply

Yeah, that's the real kicker right there. I'm sure we're going to get even more surprises and callbacks next season.

reply

Thanks for sharing. I didn't think to see if there was a scene back there.

I jokingly told my daughter that perhaps these components were for the Death Star.

reply

Yep, very similar situation here as well. It's funny cause usually I'll end the video and go back to the menu after it's done, this time I felt like listening to the credits music, glad I did because the scene was great!

reply

I called it as soon as I saw them on the factory floor. I knew it wouldn't be just some random spaceship stuff. It'd have to be something very poignant. Given the nature of the prequel and the time period, there's really nothing else it could have been. The huge emphasis on rushing the production, to the point of turning the prisoners into a slave force worked to death. It had the stamp of the Emperor all over it.

reply

Had to laugh when I saw this.

Even during the prison factory scenes I kept saying why exactly are they doing this? We wouldn't even have people doing this on a car assembly line!

Yet the show gave us its own comedy payoff by showing us droids doing the more complicated final assembly...

reply

I watched the scene, but missed the tie-in with Andor. Good observation!
