Sylvie was never interested in taking over the TVA. She wanted to destroy it. This was repeted several times throughout the whole season. Sylive wanted to destroy the TVA, and Loki wanted to take control of it. That is why she didn't trust him at the end. There were many stupid inconsistent things in the series, but this was set up throughout the entire season and spelled out very clearly and repeatedly. The ending made complete sense, and was unexpected at the same time. That's about as much as you can ask for in an ending.
If there is no connective tissue (ie Wandavisoin) at the end, people moan. If there is connective tissue, peole moan that every Marvel movie is just the set up for another movie. I think people just like to moan, because Marvel has been so good to them, they have nothing better to do.
I had some annoyances with the series, but overall it was very good. I found the end quite satisfying. It answer important questions, wrapped up some things in the season, and left some things open for the second season, while setting up the multiverse in the MCU.

True, which makes her character look pretty dumb in the end. It's not a small island country and its dictator, it's the end of the multiverse and all timelines, and all she wants is revenge? The guy explained it to them, Loki wanted her to reconsider, but nope, she just wants chaos. Whatever. I thought Thanos is the nutjob, but next to her he looks pretty sane.
Unless the Kang she killed outsmarted them all and is still in power, IMO the ending is pretty weak and meaningless. I mean they could go on and on for seasons. What's the point?

It's only dumb if she believed everything he said, which she didn't. She had spent her entire life on the fun from the TVA, so it made complete sense for her to do what she did. The point of story telling is to tell stories.
So according to you, being able to go on and on for seasons makes a series bad? Mmmm k.

Again, she wasn't about to kill a dictator of a small island country. She didn't know what would happen, she just wanted him dead. That's dumb.
I said "They could go on and on this way, season after season, only for another Kang to pop up and take over", but there you are again, leaving stuff out, twisting every argument to your needs. Yawn.

her plan from the very beginning was to bring down the TVA. This was revealed in episode 2. But you are just complaining about this now?
If they did exactly the same thing, then another kang would rise up and take the place of the kang they killed. This was explained. Obviously it has to be resolved some other way. It's like saying the end of Doctor Strange could have gone on forever, with Dormammu killing Doctor Strange over and over. It just means they will have to find another way. You care complaining aboiut something that could happen but hasn't and won't. Tell me, what is that point in THAT?

Well Loki is supposed to be an agent of Chaos, someone who is fated to spend eternity messing things up and working against everyone and everything who believes in Order.
In that respect, Sylvie was more in character than Loki Prime, who wimped out and started thinking that maybe Order was the way to go, as long as he could be in charge. Falling in love made him go all soft and mushy.
