I was wondering why a morbidly obese guy was in this movie until he tells us that he won't have burgers to eat if the crops disappear.

He holds up a burger to make this point.

Imagine being that guy and this is why you get cast?

Australia shops are putting cabbage leaves on burgers and sandwiches because lettuce has gotten too expensive.

There's an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where Larry discovers a restaurant is running an "ugly section" in which the ugly diners are seated.

They must have had to put a casting call out for ugly actors specifically required for extras role. Probably even more humiliating. Your acting career bottomed out as an ugly extra...
