“Imma be a horse for all eternity”

I get why he wanted to stay in the game forever, but why as the horse? Couldn’t he switch into another avatar before they left? I get now he is no longer terminally ill, but living an eternity as a horse just for the sake of it seems odd. They should have added a subplot about how he loves animals or used to be a pilot before old age ended his flight career. Especially after they established they could switch bodies, it just makes no sense as to why he would chose to spend eternity as a horse when he could’ve picked anyone else.

Did anyone else think the fate of Danny Glover's character was like something out of Black Mirror?

Whack end to a whack movie. I don't think the writers were putting much thought into anything they were putting on screen.

How do you suggest he switch avatars? Besides, the horse can fly, which is something he clearly enjoyed.

All the others was down to one life. The next movie that is in development will have him with all his lives.I think this way is a thing to keep him alive when he came to the house with not long to live.

reply

It doesn't have to make sense. The movie was a joke.

You are making the assumption that being a horse is worse than being a human. We can not say that with certainty.

He stays alive being a horse to the next movie. And if the idea Jumanji comes this time here then maybe he will change back then,or swap with someone.
