One of the very best shows ever made

nah, The start was good but it kinda flatlined for me.

And if you're going to ignore the language with this cast, why use those recordings with subtitles? That was a strange inclusion.

Only watched three episodes so far, but its incredibly well made, Stellan Skarsgård is awesome in his role, as is Jared Harris, whom I'd only recently seen in the Terror, he was great in that too!

I agree with OP. There is so much in this: the story of the event and the political/human errors that caused it. The stories of the first responders, Legasov and other heroes who contained a greater catastrophe. The lesson of Chernobyl, the Soviet State and “the cost of lies”. Can’t help seeing this as a cautionary tale on climate change.

Yes it was. It's one of the best shows ever on TV. I give it a 9.6/10.
