One of the Darkest films I have ever seen.

So many scenes gave me chills...So many scenes made me say to myself "wtf?" It Lived up to the hype..and I totally get why The Media put out all those warnings. Really hope there isnt any Mentally disturbed copycat nuts from this...

Btw I went to an early showing(5:50pm) and there were Cops already there in case something happened.

It may be the darkest comicbook movie ever. I've seen as dark or darker films like American History X, A Serbian Film, The Rape of Nanking, etc. but those aren't comicbook movies.

This movie is brutal though. The violent scenes are explosive and quick without relying on gimmicks. That's what make them great.

Instead of trying to create iconic scenes ended up played again and again to the point of desensitization of the audience, the director chose to not glorify the violence and presented it as is. It's a "show don't tell" approach.

The movie's moral is exactly that. What we need to examine and do to prevent the mentally unstable part of the society from going berserk; by showing how a man descends into hell. I hope it inspires people and the government to put more care for mental health problems and services.

I dunno - I've seen some peeps post warnings about going out this weekend because apparently the whole of the US will implode because of this movie. In my opinion though, mass shooters will do their thing regardless of this or any other film.

The land of the free will think about banning guns then rethink again and the cycle will continue until no americans are left to fuck up the world - hahaha

Its darkness is what makes it so good. On the one (forget it!) to ten (perfect!) scale I rate it a well-deserved nine!!!
