Mexico? Cartels? Again??

Last few years soooo many movies or series about those topics, a new mini serie ''Coyote'' just released, the last Rambo, and all the ones from the last few years about border security and drug cartels, etc..

Would it be a similar plot with any other type of bad guys I would have watched it, but this one I won't, so repetitive such lack of creativity.

What you are doing here , is giving ammunition to the anti woke bigots who complain that villains are always white.

ha ha you have a good point I never thought about it this way, but still they could try to come up with different types of bad guys, mexican drug cartels my god this topic has come back in so many movies and series the last few years.

reply

"Anti woke bigots" really?
I'm a bigot for being "anti woke"?

reply

I'm struggling to come up with the correct term

Theres actual "woke" ideas like , e.g. people who would remake "The battle of Britain" with an all black cast recreating actual named real life white people.
I'm sure most people are anti that. fine.

Then there are those get all upset every time a non white male gets a part , coupled with when a white male *does* get a part - if its the villain.

The second category need a name, like whatever the opposite of woke is.
best i can come up with is "butthurt, white, nazi, misogynistic, woman hating racist"
but its a bit of a mouthful .

How about woke people that complain when an white actress plays a historical white character and then cheer (or don't say anything) when a black actress (or actor) plays a historical (or cultural) white character???

reply

"white actress plays a historical white character"
Nobody complains about that, people just pretend they do so they can get angry.

"cheer (or don't say anything) when a black actress (or actor) plays a historical (or cultural) white character???"
Didnt i address that in the second sentence of my post?

reply

a LOT of people complained about that.

no, you didn't, not from a woke perspective.

like black Ariel, all woke media praised the move.

i don't care if nonwokes are against it, they hypocrisy is with the wokes.

reply

We all know that in real life the villains are black.

reply

At least it's not white European terrorists again.
