This movie was awesome!

The last 30-40 minutes were some the most exciting I've seen in a while! I'd highly recommend this to everyone!

just saw it. it was a very good movie. good story and good acting, can't ask for more than that.

reply

Totally agree. Even better than I expected. So tense and sad. Renner and Olsen did excellent work. So good to see them in a real film, and not more popcorn fluff.

reply

I agree it was a very good movie.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/kUPlaX-CdCw

I've done that and I can't find anything on it. IMDB used to have a link for it that said it but I can't find anything on this site.

reply

It is really good, but people don't go to movies like this anymore. Annabelle rules the theaters.

reply

I will see it

reply

I think you will enjoy it.

reply

It's a good film, but it's definitely not for the faint of heart.

reply

saw it tonight and I did enjoy it - Renner was great

reply

Many people don't go to movies any more...period, which is really too bad.

reply

Mostly teens and young adults go to the movies. Older people don't go, because there are few movies for people over 30.

reply

I don't think that's entirely true, monica. It depends on the location of the movie theatres, as well as the type of movie(s) that play, and the type of movie theatre. I think that in the repertory theatres here in the United States (the few that are left.), you'll see many more people over 30 in the audience.

reply

I was talking about movies, not plays. The repertory theater in my area is filled with older people. Movies are a harder nut to crack, since most are made for younger people. Movies made for adults are only played during the fall and winter. In my area all the movie theaters play all the same movies.

reply

I understand that you were talking about movies, and not plays, modica. When I said repertory theatres, I meant the independent movie theatres that play older movies, classic films, independent and foreign films. One has to look for movies that're made for adults, but they're there.

reply

Not so much in my area anymore. There are a few, but they aren't close most don't go because older people don't like to travel just to see a movie.

SPOILERS:
I couldn't agree more. The last 30 minutes were a complete surprise for me. It's so nice to see a movie like this in the theater. The snowmobiles were crazy fast. It's a very tender movie though. I agree with you: highly recommended.

reply

I agree, very good movie.

For the most part, it's not full of action and people with lesser attention span might initially be turned off by that, but it gets intense in the right moments, and leaves you with a memorable feeling.

reply

I liked it a lot , although it does have its flaws.

Very similar to the director's last film Hell or High water.

reply

Jeremy Renner did a wonderful job in this movie. He's a good actor, anyway, and the fact that he's always playing these big bad-assed, rough-and-tough guys suits him...to a tee.

reply

I agree. Very good movie.
