4 seasons later, and we know nothing about the bridge crew

So much focus has been put on the Burnham character, that they've neglected any type of development regarding it's cast. This is not Star Trek. CBS has turned it into a mockery.

reply

Star Trek Discovery was ALWAYS a mockery, as was Star Trek Picard.

reply

Picard is just as bad.

reply

Agreed.

Picard has bruised the rest of Next Generation for me. It reminded me of season eight of Game of Thrones, how that one season kind of wrecked the entire show.

Not so.We know their Races, genders and sexualities.According to SJW nuts these trivial traits are all you need to know about a characters identity. This show wasn't made for Trek fans it was made for wokes. It took me midway through season 3 to realize that.

reply

This is so true, imo, it should have the Star Trek name taken off of the title. What a shame, oh well, I guess I can keep watching the real Trek over and over to get my fix..

Odd, I realized that after only a handful of episodes in season 1. They no desire to tell actual science fiction stories, just to check all the diversity boxes and then pat themselves on the back for it.

reply

I got that sense early on as well but i just thought that at some point the writing would improve. It wasn't until season 3 that it dawned on me that the show had no ambitions beyond spewing cringy identity politics.

WE DO HOWEVER KNOW JUST HOW GOOD SHIT BLOWS UP IN OUTER SPACE!

reply

That's because you don't watch it, just like the other trolls!

reply

Why would they watch a show were the power of being sad and grumpy destroys the universe LOL.
