Relative sizes

In the original Kong movie, he appeared to be no more than about thirty feet tall. In Godzilla's original movie, he towered over buildings and power lines, so he must have been a hundred feet tall or more. He could have drop kicked Kong over the horizon. But now they are equals meeting eye-to-eye?

reply

In the Skull Island movie the Kong in THIS movie universe was much bigger than 30 feet. He looked to be about thirty stories tall... which is still a lot smaller than Godzilla...

... but ...

Skull Island was set decades in the past so my guess is that he keeps growing til he is the same size as Big G in the present day.

reply

It was even said in the Skull Island movie, that Kong still keeps growing...

reply

Soooo..... he grew? I don't understand why some people have such issues comprehending this.

reply

I can easily comprehend it if a character grew. I just had never heard that before.

reply

Never heard of what? Animals growing?

reply

I missed hearing that Kong grew from his original size to hundreds of feet tall.

reply

No, I never heard of a gorilla growing over 30 stories high

reply

Watch Kong:Skull Island, it specifically states he is still growing.

reply

I have not seen that "Kong" entry. Which brings up another inconsistency: Kong was killed in the first movie, and and his carcass presumably made into a taxidermic specimen for display in some museum or circus. So there would have to be other Kongs. Different "Kong" universe, I suppose.

reply

This Kong is his brother

reply

it was established on skull island that all skull island monsters are that big.
