Will you be sad when Thanos dies in the next episode?

Will you be sad when Thanos dies in the next episode?
How do you know that Thanos will die in Avengers 4?

Regardless, neither happy nor sad and there are other options for defeating Thanos' goal and the character satisfactorily with the need to have him return as a foil, or a villain or as a plot device to overcome an even more dangerous threat.

I have a feeling that they will kill off Thanos in a very sypathetic way as he seems to have a lot of online fans (not me)... Maybe they'll ressurect him in a later episode, for future fan service...

I think they will defeat him in a way that takes away his powers or renders him unable to be a threat again. Could be that he dies though, you never know with Marvel Studios. They like to surprise you.

reply

They will probably defeat him like in the comics, Nebula steals his gauntlet and resets the whole thing before he even got the chance to create the gauntlet.

How about making it true to comic book style stories in which the bad guy is never killed but jailed instead? Worked flawlessly with Magneto and Lex Luthor...

reply

They'll probably just trap him in some kind of utopia within the Soul Gem.

Should Thanos get to see his "snap" get undone before he dies or gets defeated?

As a kid, I wanted to see Khan watch the Enterprise escape the Genesis explosion, but I later appreciated the send-off he got. He was such an epic villain, it seemed fitting not to rub his face in his defeat.

However, I really liked it and still do that Solomon Lane gets captured, and lives long enough to see the IMF looking him right in the eye. That was better than killing him [twice, maybe?]
