If Darth Maul is still alive then they really should have made him the focus of any spin off movies.
shareIf they're going to continue to do movies like this, I'd certainly rather have more of the side characters than main ones. Maul is kind of in the middle, where he's not some legendary character that can be destroyed really, but still very popular. So, it's not a bad idea... if KK is removed - trust in any future SW film is nonexistent with her still in charge.

shareAbsolutely, and Dave Filoni is a realistic replacement, it's something that could actually happen. We need someone who actually cares about Star Wars and has experience with the creative process and writing... someone who isn't set on pushing political shit into these movies. She was never even a fan ffs. Keep her as a producer though, I don't care - but get her the hell away from the creative process. Hopefully Disney catches on.
shareNah remove her as a producer aswell. I don't know about Dave Filoni. He is part of the Lucasfilm Story Group right? because that group is filled with SJW women that KK put there. I don't know if Dave would allow this shit to happen. I don't really trust anyone in Lucasfilm at the moment.

No way would we have gotten this disrespectful TLJ shit with him, and it's also clear the "fuck the fans" mentality has trickled down from KK. Anyone else running it would have told all these people to stfu already, but they keep talking, because there's no one telling them to stop.
shareAlright. Fuck it put him in charge. Make him the Kevin Feige of Lucasfilm. Everything is better than Kathleen Kennedy. He should replace the writers team of the Story Group aswell. Get some quality people in there that are actual fans.
shareMaul would have been the perfect bad guy for Force Awakens, instead of Kylo Ren and that Snoke guy. But I guess that would have been too logical by trying to tie the episodes together and they were trying to distance themselves from the poorly received prequels to make their own unwatchable crap aimed at soy boys.
shareNot sure where they're going but I think it's certain we'll see Darth Maul again. Can't imagine they'd save his surprise reimergence for the end of this film to do nothing with it.
shareThat whole Darth Maul thing was confusing but I at least did want to know more. As far as Solo the thing starts off mediocre and shows how free of care everybody involved with it was other than to make money off it.

His brief appearance in Solo would be the perfect way to get such a spin-off going. I suspect this was for a future Obi-Wan movie where they face off one more time.
