Those of you who think this movie is unintentionally funny, maybe you didn't get it.

I disagree. There was quite a few funny bits in it.
But i ain't arguing... just my opinion.

Yeah it did seem and feel like it, a black comedy psychological thriller I would call it.

It often is played for, although often dark and serious laughs, it isn't meant to be taken too seriously and literally and it is in itself often too silly to be truly shocking.

From the fact that apparently all houses nearby are totally empty and Keanu couldn't seek help, to how two good looking seemingly not that strong ladies manage to overpower him at any opportunity and him being unable to do anything about it, to often many absurd bits and scenarios etc, it didn't feel like a serious straight-forward film at all.

The greatest trick the Devil has ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist!

Yes, this movie was intentionally funny as all get out! How did no one get this? My sides hurt from laughing so much at the end. 7/10

I mean, he accidentally hits "like" on the video at the end instead of "delete." I laughed out loud at that bit. There's no question that was intended to be hilarious. And it is.

I caught the last 25 minutes of the movie and I was laughing my head off. A black comedy explains it.

When it ends with him accidentally liking a video instead of deleting it, to miss that the movie wants you to laugh at his predicament takes some doing.

That was the only almost-funny bit in the movie. Sadism is not funny--anyway in the way this movie presented it, it was not. BTW blacking out insignificant scenes are signs of a way too twee cinephile-ism.

I said it's a black comedy: "Black comedy, also known as black humor, dark humor, dark comedy, morbid humor, or gallows humor, is a style of comedy that makes light of subject matter that is generally considered taboo, particularly subjects that are normally considered serious or painful to discuss."

The atmosphere is more in line with horror to just be a straight black comedy. The laughs are intentional as a way to fool you into thinking these girls are harmless at first and the whole situation is just bizarre and exciting until you realize their true intentions and then it takes a more serious turn.
