Well, you don't really seem like much, so that's not surprising.

reply

I agree completely but that's an opinion that will draw a lot of flak.

I know but it's still the truth. These are not films, they are brands. The film, if you can call it that, it's just the excuse. There is nothing real about it except the success of the charlatans that produce it, having fun riding on a wave made up of true garbage. The insane thing is how well trained and conditioned the audience is. These are 300 million dollar heroin shots, and when the credits roll the audience has already forgotten about it and they are left to ravenously wait for the next fix.

Everyone loses in here, except the studios.

What are you talking about? It was very funny and very entertaining. What do you want from makebelief stories?

reply

Oh c'mon, Cake, don't be such a downer... How else are the consumerist masses supposed to feel good about their superficial, materialistic lives unless they can gorge themselves every now and then on 300 million dollar heroin shots of entertainment like this?

I saw the trailer at the cinema last night... was enough for me :D

Too Galaxy Guardians for me, which I never liked... it seems like the current trend in these movies... Also, I've been fed up with comic book movies for a few years... Not that I was ever a fan...

I did notice that Thor's speaking style and vocabulary were different from the first movie... seemed less elevated and more in the style of a 13 year old...

reply

I actually like it and prefer it to the other Thor films.
