How is this going to "run parallel" with Breaking Bad?

Isn't there only like six episodes left? Unless they do a major time leap ala the first season of Fargo, I don't see this coinciding with the same timeline as BB before its conclusion.

Not really sure, but per IMDb, the cast list for the mid season finale [e607 ]
has BC & AP listed in the cast list

Flash forward to the BB timeline to open the episode that will relate to something that happens in Present time?

BC is listed in 3 episodes, episode 7, episode 8 and 13.

AP is listed in episode 7 and 13.

We could already be in the Breaking Bad timeline, keep in mind Saul didn’t know Walt until season 2 of Breaking Bad

Nope, we're still in cMay/June 2004 presently. BB timeline begins around September 2008.

How do we know its 2004 currently? I know better call saul began in 2002 with episode 1 as it was written on a check he got from the court. Just two years have passed in 6 seasons?

E507 from last season, when Jimmy & Kim get married, the date on the marriage certificate is May 2004. Also, there was an apx. 6-8 month time jump in Season 4 between episodes 6 & 7.

"Wine and Roses" - May 13-22, 2004 (ten days)
"Carrot and Stick" - May 23-24, 2004 (two days)
"Rock and Hard Place" - May 24-25, 2004 (two days)
"Hit and Run" - May 26-27, 2004 (two days)
"Black and Blue" - May 28-29, 2004 (two days)
"Axe and Grind" - May 30, 2004 - June 18, 2004 (three weeks)

Doesn't feel like 2004 at all. Gus has had that hole in the ground for quite some time then and only puts Gail to work unboxing the items years later.

I expect massive time jumps in the next few episodes.

We are still far away. Saul was a hotshot celebrity when BB started. It takes time to build that kind of reputation.

Saul’s first episode he’s kidnapped by Walt and Jesse thinking it’s Lalo and not knowing of Nacho’s death so I’d say things are only gonna be a small gap from the end of BCS to BB if any.
