Kim

I feel like she's probably the biggest wild card on the show, one of the most speculated about. I've heard theories that involve her eventual death, or going on the run. I've considered those too, and those would make for a dramatic story, but I feel like that's less likely. I feel like the bigger it is, the harder it is to believe it was never mentioned somehow in Breaking Bad, narratively speaking.

I feel like it'll be something smaller, quieter, in a way more obvious. I think she'll probably just decide Jimmy was a mistake, and go back to HHM, and eventually end up with Howard, and Jimmy decides to never speak of them again. I feel like it would fit the show. It'd be a challenge to make it work for the character, but it could be done. Plus, she's not really done anything wrong, nothing worse than putting her faith in Jimmy.

If she has any brains, she will eventually realize that Jimmy was a big mistake.

It would be a shame if she died. However, she was a foil to Jimmy's brother Chuck who burned himself to death in a ghastly suicide. I would think she would be there to console Jimmy before she starts thinking Jimmy/Saul is a mistake.

Even then, I can't see her and Howard. Howard put her in HHM's basement. And I can't see her acting like Skler to Walter to Jimmy/Saul. Yet, she's not there in the flashbacks, so I guess something dramatic happens to her. I'm not sure what that is at the moment until watching some more episodes on Season 4.

EDIT: The show has become too intellectual. It should return to the BB roots with some bad characters showing up. Those make for the most dramatic moments of the show. For example, Mike trying to kill Hector or the gangsters trying to kill Jimmy.

She won't die, she'll probably show up randomly in one of Saul's fastforward black & white sequences at the beginning of each season. "Hey I'm back from Maui, what happened while I was gone?"

It's literally that simple.

Here is what I think will happen.

After Chuck’s death, Jimmy takes his advice to heart. He knows that he will always hurt those around him. Thus, he breaks with Kim and severs all connection to her.

Jimmy decides he is better not being in a relationship at all and becomes the criminal collaborator attorney we know him for. He figures that if he is going to hurt people, it might as well be criminals.

Whatever horrible fate awaits Kim, it's important to understand that it will all be on Walt.
He retroactively caused her downfall by cooking some insanely pure meth and warping the space-time continuum.
