What If Bryan Cranston Had Played Lex Luthor In Batman v Superman

If the writing was the same, it still would had been terrible. As good an actor that Cranston is.

It wasn't meant to be. Zach Snyder wanted Luthor to be the same age as Superman.

James Woods would've made an amazing Lex Luther, especially had they made a Superman movie in the 90's.

Kevin Spacey was the best part of Superman Returns

I think they need somone younger. an actor who can play both serious evil genius and be a physical threat. it'd be pretty easy to do, have the actor be in great shape, show him working out in his office before a meeting, then get dressed all professional and go into the room and outsmart them and show they fear him. a literal 3 minute scene could show us all we needed to know about Luthor.

That casting rumor was the only thing that had me interested in the film.

Awful choice. Luthor needs to be physically intimidating too which is why it’s so stupid they keep casting wimpy actors.
