Any IMDb Message Board Refugees Here?

I'd love to know if some of my fellow former IMDb users are here. It's been 2 days and I'm going through withdrawal lol. I miss the Emoticons, being able to block quotes from other posters and being able to create clickable links to websites. I wonder if we'll ever be able to do those things here at MovieChat...

I hope this site stays up. It looks like basically the exact same thing as IMDB, so it's a perfect replacement! It's just a matter of time until it becomes more widely known, and IMDB will be a thing of the past.

and then when it begins to gain attention and support, moviechat will do the same as IMDB and start paying more attention to Hollywood than its fanbase. I am a refugee also, and was one of the people that started using IMDB when it first launched.

I was a longtime IMDb user until February 19th or 20th, which is when they shut us out. A few days afterward, however, I discovered this site and do not plan to go anywhere else from this point forward. Not only is the community warm and inviting here, but the atmosphere and feel of this site is extremely similar to IMDb as well. I love it here and plan on staying for good! Good riddance to IMDb for what they did to us! I will never go back there again!
