Fast 11 to be the final movie in franchise

Good but it's no surprise now given the penis hating lunatics are now after Vin Deisel.

I suspect the budget for the last one was far more balloony than what we're being told. I think it lost money regardless.

Definitely no surprise that Vin doesn't want Momoa upstaging him in a whole nother movie. Hope they keep him as the big bad in Rock's spinoff flick (if that thing even gets made).

They've really left too many dangling threads from Fast X to make any sort of back to basics film. You're gonna have a real goofy Battle of the Five Armies situation. You got three bad guys to deal with and you have to explain all the near death cliffhangers and put the whole band back together, while explaining yet another resurrection, then you can finally tell a new story. They really painted themselves into a corner.

The way I see it, many characters will not be back in this one. Roman, Tej, Han and Ramsay all were killed in a plane crash. Cena died in the car crash. Dom and his son are doomed and surrounded by lethal force, so they shouldn't make it out alive. Giselle is back and with Letty and Cypher. Mia is also around. I do like the fact that its now mainly an all womens team to take on Dante

You forgot about Brian. He's still alive.

They say that Brian's Black:-

reply

Yes but in the story line, he retired so he won't be back

reply

He's never been explicitly retired. He's just looking after the kids.

But now that half the cast are dead and the rest are in huge trouble, it would be an absolute sensation if a fast car pulled up beside Dom and son, swung the passenger door open and we see Brian saying "You need a ride?".

The house would come down!

reply

That sounds a bit over the top. I rather them keep the story more grounded in reality

reply

Na. There's nothing OTT in that itself. Brian's always been alive in show. Just watching the kids.

If he turned up and said "You need a ride?" and Dom replied (in that real slow talkin' fashion of his) "I always knew you'd have my back BROTHER", the crowd would go wild!

Then they could go back to LA and have a real grounded film to finish the series. Jason Mamoa would turn up, all heavy and giving it "I'm going to kill you Dom!", but he could just reply "No, sorry bro, me and my family don't do that no more. Settle it with a friendly quarter of a mile?".

Dante would say yes, then they'd have a race. Dom says "I like the way you drive. Welcome to the family".

They all then - Dom, Brian, Dante - clank Corona bottles (brought out in an ice box by Mia) - and settle down for barbecue. The End.

I'm sick of seeing the backyard BBQs at Doms house. I rather see them do take out next time with some wings and pizza

reply

mmm... Is that a reference to Thom Barry?

You want to see Agent Bilkins back for the more grounded finale. Makes sense...

reply

Wasn't even thinking of him

reply

Thank the Lord.
