I feel like every movie is marketed as potentially his last only for him to go on and make more but given he'll be 93 at the end of this month it may very well be his final, he can't go on forever.

Final movie? I think we've heard this before. There is no stopping Clint. I'll still watch anything he's in. Can't say that about many actors.
shareI do not believe any movie was ever marketed as his last movie before, it also seems like this is directly from the studio, after Zaslav took over he was very unhappy that Cry Macho was ever greenlit and how well it performed, They probably gave him one ore movie on the condition it be his last movie, atleast with them, and he may not even want to make another with another studio so it seems quite unlikely considering also he'll probably be 94 atleast before he can start on another movie so time is certainly not in his favor for another movie, if he even wants to make another.

shareYeah, it seems like every movie since Gran Torino was supposed to be his last one or at least set up in a way as it could be marketed as his “final masterpiece” in retrospect. For example, Hereafter seems like it would be interpreted as his final film at the time given the title.
shareI've never seen or heard any marketing, or rumor, that any film was to be his last before this one. In fact, it always seemed to be the case that he was "still going strong" and "pressing on into his 80s" and then "continuing in his 90s." This is the first time I've seen any indication that he was planning to stop after his current project.
