In her Instagram post she mentions she's been asked 'in the most respectful way' to return , which suggests she got what she wanted

They probably gave like 10-20k raise. They don't spend much money on making those movies. They are all very low budget. That why they couldn't give her those millions she asked. Those movies don't make much. But since budget is low - it is profitable.

I imagine it will be like a Scream 'Endgame' final movie (I'm guessing they only intended to do a new trilogy like Halloween) bringing back as many 'legacy' characters from S1234 as possible.. (maybe even some dead characters) and now Williamson is involved might go even more meta (like near Nightmare on Elm Street 7)

It’ll still suck because the same woke morons who wrote the shitty 5 and 6 have written 7.

The only way I’d even contemplate paying to watch this is if they were completely out of the project, and the script completely ignores 5 and 6, including the unforgivable death of Dewey.

Hard pass on this stinker.

Could never understand why they keep bringing back her boring face to these movies. She has zero personality and can't act.

It was actually refreshing when they start bringing new characters in main roles. They way she is hustling these movies is hilarious. I guess she is short on money. I wonder if she agreed to take what they were offering before. Or got like 10k raise.

More interested in seeing it now. 5 and 6 were shit. 6 was just stupid. Chad being wheeled to the ambulance at the end waving was laughably ridiculous given how many times he was stabbed in the chest.

Why is it plausible to have her come back? She's a murder survivor and decades have gone by. Now there's a new copycat killer on the loose and for some reason she has to return. Who does that anyway? She's not a reporter of any kind nor part of a federal agency or a local policeforce.

Aside from being a popular character why the hell would she get involved as a person?

Shes not just a survivor shes the original survivor from the beginning. It's perfectly plausible that a purist copycat obsessed with the killings would target her as such. That's not that far fetched. Besides I'd rather see her than any of the generic forgettable crap characters that the legacy characters have been replaced with.

They'll flip the roles. Mark will die in the opening scene. Then, in a theme of being a better mother than she had, the rest of the movie will be about Sidney's motivation to protect her kids
