Kylo *spoilers*
his turn to the light worked for me, wasn't forced

I agree - he'd done too many messed up things to ever be redeemed from an audience perspective
I liked that he still had to "work for it" to save Rey at the end
I'd love to see that after his mother passed away, Kylo would turn back to the light, and Rey would succumb to the dark side. They should have followed that route and made this a 2 movie story.
shareI likey this idea😀. It's interesting but many would find it too dark and depressing. The second movie has her succumbing to the dark side and I am picturing the very last scene as a flash forward with her on a throne 20 years later ordering the death of someone.😨😨
shareYes, such a feminine touch, and what a delicate moment for the conflicted girl coming of age with godlike powers - the alpha badboy and the woman who saw the good in him, and redeemed a young mass murderer with his whole life ahead of him, as she herself grows to realize that she may not be that pure after all.
I'm still wondering at what point cliche began to pass for creative.
I had high hopes with Ray impaling Kylo on a lightsaber and saying "I can see the light now... coming out of your ass"
