So for some they basically got TWO good films.
....and the rest were bad. So Star Wars as a whole SUCKS....πππ

As for those who claim ROTJ sucks... well, they've got ridiculously high expectations.
ROTJ is still my least favorite. I just rewatched it the other day and except for a couple scenes i still do not like it anymore than we I first saw it in 83..
I know ESB is most people favorite but I still feel ROTS is the best of the series. The end lightsaber battle is awesome...
Let me clarify about ROTJ:
I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Battle of Endor, all three ways. I think it is THE single best space battle in the whole saga.
I don't care so much for Han's rescue from Jabba's Palace and all of that, as it recently occurred to me that this segment would not happen AT ALL if Lucas respected Ford's decision not to return.
And the bit I find most boring is when they first arrive on Endor and the Ewok stuff, up until Luke rescues them from being literally roasted (and 3PO's little part as well). After that, it all rocks.
So I can see why you don't like it. It was, however, the very first Star Wars I saw in the cinema with my big sister, so it has a special place in my heart.
Return of the Jedi is a mixed bag for me. The ending has some of the greatest moments in the entire franchise, but you have to sit through a lot of boring kiddie nonsense to get there. Overall I like it because of the last act but the buildup definitely could have been better. The Jabba sequence was entertaining enough but overall unnecessary to the main plot.
